I'm happy and thrilled to have achieved this wonderful length but I have bad news as well. I'm currently going through another horrible shedding phase similar to the one I had last fall. It's extremely frustrating and scary and I really hope this will stop soon. :-(

As for shedding, I wish I could offer some great advice but alas I don't understand the phenomenon at all.
But please relax as much as you can and enjoy your great long hair accomplishment.
Thanks a lot. I try to stay calm as I have learned from last years shedding phase that I can't really do anything about it except for just sitting it out.

I think when you "hang around" long hair forums, you can get discouraged or envious because there are a small number who have achieved such amazing length....but it's very important to celebrate and luxuriate in the accomplishment of waist length which in itself is very rare and special.
