Zwei Fragen an JC

Hab heute die folgenden zwei Fragen an JC von

geschickt. Ich hoffe, ich muss nicht allzu lange auf eine Antwort warten.

1. Can cones in Shampoos clog my pores?

I’m wondering if it makes sense to avoid conditioning shampoos containing silicones since some people say the cones could clog the pores on the scalp and build up over time and that this could slow down hair growth. Is this really true or just one of the many hairy fairy tales travelling through the internet? Would it be enough just to use a clarifying shampoo from time to time or should I keep my scalp cone-free in the first place?

2. Can carrot oil and sesame oil increase blood circulation

The manufacturer of Khadi hair oil claims that the carrot and sesame oil in their product would increase blood circulation. People using this oil say that their scalp starts to prickle after using it. The oil has the following ingredients:

Sesamum Indicum oil • Cocos Nucifera oil • Ricinus Communis oil • Eclipta Alba (Bringaraj) • Bacopa Monniera (Brahmi) • Citrullus Colocynthis (Indrayan) • Rosmarinus Officinalis • Daucus Carota oil • Sida cordifolia (Bala) • Butea Monosperma (Palasa) • Trigonella foenum-graecum • Abrus precatorios (Gunja) • Vinca rosea

Is there any scientific evidence for that and how important is increased blood circulation for a healthy hair growth? Does it make sense to massage the scalp regularly?
